Lhaba La Trek

This is a relatively new trek in North Sikkim for the trekkers who wants to trek in a new area with stunning view of the mountain ranges and Rhododendrons in view.

The trek starts neay Yumthang towards Tsethang. The journey is amongst the Rhododendron forest. We will take the excursion to Brukhantse East to have a stunning view of the Yumthang valley from the top.

Lhabala is the highest pass that we will cross (4100m) from where we will descent to Yutomey and finally towards the Tarum Hot Spring to soak our tired feet in the natural Hot water spring to end the trek.

OUTLINE ITINERARY

Day 01: Delhi – Bagdogra. Drive to Darjeeling

Day 02: Darjeeling

Day 03: Darjeeling – Gangtok

Day 04: Gangtok

Day 05: Gangtok – Lachung

Day 06: Lachung – Yumthang. Trek to Tsethang
Day 07: Trek Tsethang to Brung Khangse East and return

Day 08: Trek Tsethang to Lhathang via Lhabala

Day 09: Trek Lhathang to Youtomey

Day 10: Trek Youtomey to Tarum Hot Spring

Day 11: Trek Tarum Hot Spring to the roadhead. Drive to Lachen

Day 12: Drive Lachen to Gangtok

Day 13: Gangtok to Bagdogra – Onward Destination
