In east Arunachal we will trek in the Riu Tala region hunting for the high altitude Alpine flowers. According to the Adis, Eko Dumbing is the highest peak and all the hills are its descendents. They believe it is the sacred domain of the Snow God Jimu Tayeng. The Adi community comes to this sacred mountain to collect Emo (econite) in an elaborated ritualistic expedition called Disang. Many wildlife, flora and rare species of birds can be seen here.
